World Reggae Dance takes the stage on Monday | Entertainment
The 2014 World Reggae Dance Championships will storm the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center on Monday, August 4 at 8 p.m., with the grand finale.
Twelve Jamaican teams: Overload Skankaz, Dynamix Team, STR8 Edge Society, Hectic Dymond, Equanoxx, Untouchable Squad, High Voltage, Endevarous, Inkursion Unit, X-Klusive Dancers, Flava Flava Dancers and Ice Lynk Skankaz; in addition to the 2013 Japanese champion groups, Attack Dem Squad; 2013 runner-up winner Yallow Yellow and 2014 runner-up from JA to JA will go head-to-head for the league title.
The Japanese have snatched the title for two consecutive years; However, Jamaicans are eager to collect this year’s trophy, more than $ 2 million in cash and prizes, and a trip back to Japan to perform at the One Love Jamaica Festival.

The JCDC World Reggae Dance Championship began in 2006 with the aim of giving national and international exposure to talent that exists in the reggae, roots and dancehall genres.
